It's Easy to be Happy....

I recently read an article about “15 Ways to be Happy”, found it practical and worth sharing, so here are a few key take away points.
-          Strengthen your relationship with your loved ones: It is all about recognizing your own strengths and weaknesses. Overcoming such things which might be hindering success in any relationship with the most beloved person, like an uncontrolled anger or non-thoughtfully said words.

-          Be clear in your communication: A conflicting message can create havocs at times and might result into a ruined relationship also. So it is very essential to be clear and precise in what message, intentions or expectations you wish to convey.
-          React positively to negative emotions: Being open to criticism and an attitude of accepting errors leads to improvement in personality along with great career growth.

-          Make a plan of action for next span of time: The more detailed the plan is the more likely you are to succeed. But plan to do only 6 things every day towards your goals will keep you stress free and with the constant momentum going.
-          Plan your meals before they happen: Maintaining a proper balanced diet is the toughest task in today’s hectic schedules, which is although the most essential part of routine life. So take a little time to plan the meal and avoid grabbing on junks. Don’t skip meals and eat on time.
-          Be active: Avoid sitting in front of TV for extended periods of time as you’re more likely to reach for unhealthy snacks. Use your spare time to exercise or engage in household activities.

-          Sleep well and just enough so you wake up energized and refreshed: It is important to know how much sleep is enough? If you feel tired when you wake up in the morning after more than 8 hours of sleep, you need to reduce the duration, as too much is as tiring as too little. Just the right amount makes you spring out of bed.

-
Pamper yourself and love yourself: Go for spa treatment or leisure walk, which will raise your spirits and revitalize both body and mind.

-          Try not to take life too seriously and look at the positive side of life. It helps to share your issues with people who listen to you.

-          Risk analysis: It is important to know the risks of the lifestyle which can affect your health. This can go a long way to help you make the right changes to your lifestyle.

The above mentioned points are no rocket science and just the general facts which we all are aware of, yet many of them go unnoticed and without taken care of.
Carelessness towards these things results in serious situations at times, so “a stitch in time saves nine” is always better to follow.
Starting with food and exercise seems easiest, at least to me.

So I am on my way of changing my lifestyle for the better one, are you??
